Nomos Manchester II: Nomos x Mises

About this event

Hot off our sold out Nomos London event we are going back to our roots and returning to Manchester the home of the first Nomos Event in October 2021. This time we come together to discuss and engage with the Austrian School of Economics in partnership with the Mises Institute. The Mises Institute is exactly what we at Nomos aspire to for our own community, a central hub both physically and intellectually for indispensable knowledge and a strong network of like minded people.

This event is semi-formal and therefore any attendees wearing trainers, jeans, T-shirts or other inappropriate clothing can and will be turned away at the door. As can anyone who we as the organisers deem a risk to fellow attendees and speakers.

When is it happening: As per our previous events we offer an early bird ticket for a dinner with the speakers and organisers on Friday (26th of May), and the main event will be on the Saturday (27th of May). More specific times and locations will be passed on to attendees closer to the date of the event.

Where is it happening: Venues for the Friday and Saturday will be located in central Manchester, the nearest train station being Manchester Oxford Road, with the exact locations being announced closer to the date of the event.

Friday Evening will be for Early Bird ticket holders only, and will consist of a meal paid for (as far as possible) out of the additional ticket cost.

Saturday evening will consist of a number of speakers booked at a fully private venue, including the organisers Evelyn Grant and John Sweeney, alongside two hand picked scholars to be announced in due course.

Our Saturday venue will have a full bar and catering will be provided during the evening, your ticket price covers entry and a full hot buffet with desert and Canapes.
